Since March I am operating the Izumo SIM alone, and I wanted to let you know about land available in the SIM.

The two available plots are located right North and South of DragonBall expert Koenees Karas' main shop. It's a good opportunity if you plan to open a shop or move yours!

Plot A is next to Kodama no Ki (click here for TP),
Plot B is next to the Ancient Izumo Grand Shrine (click here for TP).

For one plot:
64m X 64m (4096m²), 937 prims
Rental: 5,750 L$ a month
  or
Purchase: 10,500 L$（+ monthly cost price (about 5,000 L$))

The land is terraformable.

New Shop

Kodama no Ki welcomes sakka Flow!

sakka makes traditional Japanese clothing, and as she set up her shop, she has two new items: japanese wooden clogs (geta).

One is the regular model, the other is the "one-tooth" style (harder to wear in RL but trains your balance). Both feature sculpted false feet, are scripted and customizeable.

New Ancient Grand Shrine

Along with some important changes in the configuration of the East part of Izumo SIM, the Ancient Izumo Grand Shrine was rebuilt. It has a different feeling than the previous model, but is closer to what research has found out about it in real life so far.

If you are in shape enough to climb its stairs, there is a freebie waiting for you inside. From Kodama no Ki head to the South East and you'll get there!

Mesh Girl

Anahi Suisei has released Noko, a full mesh anime-looking female avatar, available here. It includes everything shown but hair. The pantsu are also mesh... and I mean 3D mesh, because the mesh of the fabric doesn't let you see through it more than in real life ;o)

Wider Is Nicer

Abamama Hax has released a kind of buddhist stole (kasaya), the seven cloth-wide kasaya (hichijō kesa). It is wider and more elegant than the monks' usual five cloth-wide kasaya, and thus is usually worn by priests at memorial services. You can get it at this location in Kodama no Ki. There is an animation overrider available just next to it, so that you can straighten the style!

Novelties

Kodama no Ki welcomes novelred! You might want to head to his spot which is right here.

novelred makes cosplay avatars. Right now he has some from Gundam, Five Star Stories and Pokémon, but there's more to come!

I take this opportunity to feature his Tachikoma-kun (Ghost In The Shell/Kōkaku Kidō-tai Stand Alone Complex). It is a complete robotic avatar, also available in four other color versions (black, white, yellow, red).

New AO

Sales Mandrake has released the second version of his Samurai AO. You can try on the animations in his shop, right here.

Date's

Here's a new kimono and Iga-style hakama set from Hawk Sak! It is inspired by the samurai Masamune Date, who nicknamed the One Eyed Dragon (DoguGanRyū) for his eye patch. But if you happen to be set up to a different gender than that samurai, there is a female version of the outfit too. Just head to Hawk's spot in Kodama no Ki.

Rin

Some time ago Aika Zadark has released a cosplay rendition of Rin Kagamine. The face is animated and reacts to your chat. Available here.

More Than Briefs

Some time ago Leavanna Jewell has released a cosplay reproduction of DragonBall's Bulla Brief. It's a complete avatar that has character ;o) Available here.

One interesting feature is that if you're not an anime head person, the pack includes make-up for a normal head, which kind of makes her more sexy!

By the way, it's still not late for hatsumōde (the first shrine visit of the New Year)! You can visit the SIM's shrine (a replica of the Izumo ancient shrine) and make your wishes for 2012!

Mortar Headds

Some time ago, tungtam Zwilling has opened a spot in Kodama no Ki!

tungtam specializes in mecha, currently cosplay reproductions of mortar headds from Five Star Monogatari. Head here to see all the models!

Iza!

This is something Rencho Oh has been working on for some time, and here it is finally! Second Life's first iaidō game: "Iai Kiri Game Iza!!!Slash!!!" Available here.

Up to six players sit in circle, and when the !! mark shows up, hit W or the up arrow. The one who cuts the fastest is the winner. You can use any prop sword with it. (Even a banana if you like, but it is cooler with a sword, anyway.)

It's fun and trains your reflexes! :o)

Rencho provided a demo version, which will be in the north-west corner of the mall for some time.

Successor of The Welsh Onion

Where Hatsune Miku was given Orihime's welsh onion that kind to fit her colors, her friend Rin was given a road roller. MAO Amaterasu has released such an item. It is, of course, rideable, but also adjustable. Available here.

A Certain Robot

She's also released the cleaning robot used by Maika Tsuchimikado in
To Aru Majutsu no Index. Also rideable.

Lycanthropy

Some time ago Ashura Artful released a cosplay reproduction of Liru from Renkin San-kyū Magical? Pokān. It's a full-featured and cute avatar, complete with face HUD and tail HUD, and the face also reacts to chat. Head to Ashura's spot in Kodama no Ki for more info!

Lions And Flowers

Here's a new kimono set from CHATNOIR Catnap!
The design combines an artistic portrait of a lion (those found in shrines) and tree peonies. As she says: "A taste that exhibits the glamour of men to the maximum".
